Colleen Hancock is a passionate advocate for purpose-driven businesses, particularly those led by women and focused on social impact. Her expertise spans global women’s and maternal health, environmental sustainability, digital technology, equity, consumer engagement, and both for-profit and nonprofit ventures.
As an accomplished VP/COO and executive leader, Colleen brings over 20 years of experience in global consumer internet and technology with BabyCenter and Johnson & Johnson, preceded by 15 years in global retail strategy, leadership, and product development at Neiman Marcus and DFS. In 2007, she co-founded MAMA (Mobile Alliance for Maternal Action), successfully developing digital strategies and partnerships to educate pregnant women and save lives. The program was later transitioned to partners in India and Africa, where it continues to evolve.
Colleen has led initiatives across marketing, research, product development (both physical and software), e-commerce, retail, HR, finance, and media sales. With a proven track record of developing strong leaders, she excels at helping businesses stay relevant and adapt to evolving technology and generational needs.
An experienced board member, Colleen serves on the nonprofit boards of mothers2mothers and Spark Health Africa, as well as the for-profit board of Commetta (Digital Marketing). She previously served on the board of Azlo (Fintech).
As a certified coach and partner at TRICRES, Colleen advises founders and CEOs on social impact initiatives in education, female empowerment, and healthcare. She is dedicated to supporting the next generation of leaders and driving meaningful business impact.
Her key strengths include motivational leadership, talent development, strategic vision, and fostering collaborative teams—always with culture as the foundation for success.
Beyond her professional work, Colleen is a certified University of California Master Gardener, volunteering in community and school gardens. She also works with the National Park Service, educating youth in the Bay Area. An avid traveler, she has explored six continents and over 50 countries. A certified scuba diver and passionate ocean advocate, she is also a proud and engaged mother of two adult sons.
